Derrick and his team pulled off a last minute painting miracle! We relocated to the area and thought we had a contractor/painter lined up to paint our interior two weeks before we moved in...however, he cancelled last minute, on the weekend before he was supposed to start!!! After getting no where with a few realtor recommendations, I scoured Yelp for painters with a lot of good reviews. I left many voice mails and only heard back from a handful, one of which was Preferred Painting.

I spoke with Derrick on a Tuesday, he quickly delivered a quote on Wednesday and we hired Preferred that day. His pricing was fair and in line with other quotes I received. Abraham was the onsite supervisor and he was awesome! He and his crew were very professional and did an excellent job. Preferred Painting was able to get our first and second floor walls, a whole second floor of trim, closets and a couple of ceilings painted before we moved in and before carpeting was installed.

Preferred Painting gets an A+ for communication. Throughout the painting job, Derrick was lightning fast to respond to my text messages. He even contacted me to let me know that he was going out of town for the weekend, where cell service wasn't great, in case anything came up.

We also worked out a deal where the painters will come back to do touch ups from the move in and from the nicks that occurred from the carpet installers.

I will forever be grateful to Derrick, Abraham and the rest of the crew that pulled off what I thought was going to be impossible. We definitely plan to hire Preferred Painting for any future interior/exterior painting needs and highly recommend Preferred Painting!

I had Derrick and his team paint the exterior trim of my home as well as some of the wooden doors with French windows.
Derrick was very responsive on coming out to provide a quote.
His crew worked hard in the heat to get the painting done in a day. Overall, they did a great job.
Very professional crew. I would recommend Derrick and his team.

Well I can't say enough about these guys.. I have used Derrick and his crew several times over the past five years and given out many referrals to them. This time as always great service and excellent quality and communication. We had our entire wood done trim from stain to paint, as well as our kitchen cabinets. All as I can say is wow.. Fast, clean efficient. 5 Stars ..Thanks again..

Got back to us right away to set up an in person quote to paint our entire basement and bathroom. Scheduling project was easy. Finished in 1 day. Very precise and professional and they cleaned everything so well afterward. They also touched up a few spots in other rooms free of charge. Would definitely recommend.

I hired Preferred to redo our exterior cedar siding, trim and shutters. Derrick and his crew are great... from the free inspection, onsite and post paint job they were fantastic with following up, handling any issues, and even helping fix some minor loose board issues with my deck.
Luis was his onsite supervisor and was great. Definitely recommend them to any and all looking to get some exterior work done, I imagine their interior quality work would be the same standard.

Derrick and his crew are awesome! I needed some quick touch ups in my home, he squeezed me in and they came out the next morning and were finished quickly. They are tidy and really know how to restore and paint walls. If you have wallpaper or any other funky issues, they will take care of it and you would never know. They also paint cabinetry so if you want a fresh look in your Kitchen or Baths with out spending a boatload on new ones, they are the best. They do interiors and exteriors and last Spring they did my exterior. I cannot say enough about how responsive this company is and what a great job they do. As a realtor, they are my go to for my clients as well!
